The FDA classifies Neurontin as an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain.
It has a half-life of 5 to 7 hours, full processing time is usually anywhere from 5 to 6 half-lives, so that would be about 25 to 35 hours.
