How Long Is It Before It Wares Out Your System?

After taking this med for about two months I've been feeling like someone wants to rip my skin off and ect I stopped taking this asap and am in desperate need of knowing how long is it before it wears completely out my system.

Quetiapine is eliminated with a mean terminal half-life of approximately 6-7 hours. This means that every 6 hours, half of the previous amount of Quetiapine in the body disappears.

For example, if you took 10mg of Quetiapine at 12AM (midnight), at 6AM 5mg of Quetiapine will be left in your body. At 12PM (noon), 2.5mg will be left, and so forth until there is 0mg left in your body.

With that said, it should be completely out of your system in roughly 2 days time.

Thank you for your edvice it is really appreciated. The dose I was taking was 200mg a night. I stopped taking this the end of november I believe and I'm also heavy in weight. Do you think because of this it is taking longer to get out my system? And over time should these gorey feelings go awat. I thaught I was going crazy until I read that some other ppl felt the same.

How long ago did you stop taking it?

You weren't on it for very long, but it may still take a week or two, before you completely feel back to normal.

I been on the name brand for two years. My insurance started giving me the generic brand. That's when the problems came in. I stopped taking the 200mg does the end of november. Symptoms went away wit time but now there back. Nowhere as worse asthey wore. Will this completely go away wit time
