I took a zubsolv at 6:00am this morning, how long will it block opiates

Depends on how much you took and how much and what type of opiate you intend on taking. Also, it takes longer if you've been talking zubsolv for an extended period of time. Generally speaking, you will need to wait 3 days before experiencing full opiate agonist effects if you've been on zubs for consecutive months. If you've taken one 5.7 mg pill, you should be fine like 12-24 hours later but don't expect much off of a single Vicodin. Also, do not go taking more and more opiates if you don't feel it because you can still shut your respiratory system down. If you're not feeling it, wait another 8-12 hours to re- dose.

Is well only took subs off for a week never had any withdrawals and I feel completely normal this new thing is way better than suboxone Works magically

I'm on suboxone and love opana when i can get them prescribed. I've taken an opana the same day as the sub. They work just fine. The problem with sub is it's so much stronger than the pills, I need a 40mg opana now. If i would have known subs were so strong i would have never started taking them. I'm now on zubsolv, it's better then suboxone for some reason. There's really no need to wait, you wont get sick. The naloxone doesn't get absorbed into your body. The purpose of naloxone is so people who try to abuse it get sick. But I've seen people abusing all forms of suboxone. So apparently the naloxone doesnt even do what it's suppose to.

Not sure if you will get this or not but i just went my doctor Wed. And he switched me to the zubsolv 5.7 tablets/3 a day. I got them filled today with a free coupon. I have yet to take one bc. I have 1 1/2 tablets of the real subutex, then i took opiates a few hours later and didn't feel s*** and everybody says you can still do dope on the regular subs. But i have no clue. Anyways how long should i wait before i try taking the zubsolv bc I'm terrified of making myself sick. Please help if possible! Thanks

I've been a addict for 16yrs. I don't only have the disease "addiction" anymore. I just got diagnosed with cirrhosis this year. Its a sad thing that this diagnosis is what opend my eyes.I have 2 wonderful children, a fiance that has stuck by my side for 9yrs and a wonderful family and ready to fight the devil. So instead of going away from my family to rehab I'm doing out-patient therapy with Subzolv. I'm on day 2 and it's wonderful. I've had NO CRAVINGS what so ever.

My doctor gave me the coupon as well along with a discount card with up to $225 dollars off my future prescriptions. You might be able to contact the manufacturer of zubsolv for the one or both of those.

I agree with you. I see so many ppl posting that they took a Vicodin or Percocet and then took Suboxone or Zubsolv. You CAN'T do that!! They both contain naloxone (narcan), which is what we give ppl who o.d. on an opiate. Subutex doesn't contain naloxone. If a person needs to take long tern pain meds, like I do, you need to choose one or the other. You can't have it both ways. If you take a Vicodin and then 4 hrs later a Zubsolv, the naloxone will take away the "feel-good or high" an addict is looking for. Also, talking about withdrawal symptoms..try coming off of Zubsolv..20 times worse than coming off of Vicodin!!

you have to completely stop taking pain killers, that's what the zubsolv is for, to take care of your horrid withdrawal symptoms. it's not so you can still take pain killers, as well. if you are still taking other narcotics, taking the zubsolv or other medications like it is pointless.

I'm on Zubsolv 8.6 / 2.1 the equivalent to Suboxone 12/3mg x2. I am and have been in and out of hospital..had over 30 surgeries since 2007... I take my dose of bup/nal. the morning b4 surgery...during these surgeries I'm given fentanyl. Immediately after surgery I'm given IV Dilaudid and Fentanyl.. and once I'm discharged I'm always sent home with Oral Dilaudid tabs. Not sure if you're familiar with Dilaudid but it's one of the most potent opioid analgesic pain killers around, next to fentanyl. And I can assure you that once I run out of the Dilaudid and have to go back to the Zubsolv, there's no reason to wait for the other potent opioids to get out my system. The very next day I'm on my high dose Zubsolv and have never had any negative side effects at all. Also I've asked my surgeon about this..he says the nalaxone is only there in case someone decides to administer the stuff intravenously. It doesn't effect you otherwise except for shallow breathing. This soon and you will withdraw from both meds making it even worse and possible shock from it. Zubsolv is supposed to be done over months it takes 3 months for your body to fully stop neededing the perks. SO until that time is up you will need Zub's.

Hello... I have been addicted to opiates since 2007. I started with OxyContin 80s and in august 2013, I switched to harder opiodes. I moved to Cali in august 2016 with FIVE 5.7 zubslov's. I moved back in December and relapsed almost instantly. I have tried to Detox but with no luck. I have 3 5.7 zubslovs now. So yesterday I took half of one around 5:30 pm. I slept fine, but woke up around 9:00 am with sweats, headaches, no energy, no motivation, general malaise, etc. I took another half around 9:30 am.... well I felt alright for a little while, but since about 4:30 pm... I have had cravings, chills, loose stools, a headache, etc. I don't know what to do!! I guess the opioids I've been on since December are stronger. For some reason, in August, I was able to cut down my dose by day 3. It seems like today, I'm going to have to take another piece of zubslov because it's not lasting long like it should. Does anyone know why this is?

Hey let me ask you and you just took it for 2 days after one year of using Percocet ? So your not doing no more Zubsolv ?? Because I started taking zubsolv almost a week from now and I know I don't have more oxycodone in my system could I leave the zubsolv too now ? I just don't want to go to precipitated withdraws? Plz help

I got the coupon from the rehab center that I went to, also my Dr had coupons in his office. I have been on zubsolve for 2yrs and I have been getting the discount all this time. I have insurance so I only pay 10$ for my script

It must be different for other ppl... oh Ben on Norco/Vicodin for past 10 years and just recently started taking subone subutex and Zubsolv... if always found everything on the street no Dr needed for anything I just named... I'm scared if I go to the Dr I will be red flagged and if I brake a arm or something bad I wont be able to get anything and be in alot ally of pain... but when I take a sub/zub a couple hours later take Norcos I get really high... like nodding out high... If never put my self back into a w/d stage by mixing the 2 and iv never puked off them... like I said everyone must be different... I take 5-10 of the 10mg norcs at a time... sometimes 1-3 times a day...

Hey jenifer, the subutex does send signals to your brain to trick it into thinking that you are feeling euphoria..you can take opiates but you won't feel s***, unless you wait like 12-16 hours after you take the subutex. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE ZUBSOLV UNTIL IT HAS BEEN LIKE 24 HOURS AFTER OPIATES. I hope that this helps.

200 subs don't last several years. I am an opiate addict and take two 8mg subs a day to ease my withdrawal. I don't feel the subs unless it's been longer than 24 hours after my last dose of opiates. I get 60 subs a month and that barley lasts me. Subs and Zubsolv are great if you don't relapse. Just take it as prescribed and you can get off opiates. If you constantly relapse it won't do you any good, you will just stay taking suboxone one day and opiates the other.
