How Long Does Xarelto Remain In Your Blood Stream

I'm experiencing rectal bleeding with blood in my stool. Every time I use the restroom for the last week there's been blood in my stool, dark red spots of blood.

Hello, Jake! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

If it is due to the Xarelto, it could take a week or two to fully stop and for things to return to normal.

However, as listed by the NIH, there are other problems that could be cause this, so should make sure that you consult your doctor, for your own safety.

Has there been a lot, or just small random spots?

I was on Xarelto for 15 months but I had a bad fall and I had to stop because I can't stop bleeding from my vaginal area and it's been 3 weeks. Thank you. I'm 66 years old.

I take 20mg each day for blood thinning in relation to AF. Because of the severity of these chemicals on other parts of our body, would I consider taking 20mg every second day, due to there active life in our system? Many thanks J.
