Dear Jo, it usually works in about 15-20 minutes, but, could take a little longer 2 feel full effects. Is this the first time on pain meds? If not, u may have a tolerance and need something stronger, or, a higher Mgs. Or the pain is that bad. GOOD LUCK!

Hello, Jo! How are you doing? Did you experience any pain relief?

I just wanted to point out that you have the dosages mixed up, the higher number refers to the amount of Acetaminophen in this and the lower number, 5 is the amount of Oxycodone.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Just saw your post... I hope you are doing OK and got your dose changed so it helps... 5mg is not much

Also agree with verwon's reply about it being habit forming... because of my back I have been on this many times and my tolerance built each time where I needed more and higher dosesand eventually had to go through withdrawal which is no picnic... So please be careful and don't increase your dose without your doctor's ok... That is just my two cents on the subject... My best to you and I hope you feel better.. Take good care, Gracie
