This is an anticonvulsant that is most commonly used to treat epilepsy and some mood disorders. Why are you being tested for it?
The only time such tests are usually done is to make sure someone's dosage amount is correct. My husband takes this twice a day, every day, and that is the only reason a test is ever done, to make sure he isn't building up too much of it in his body.
The FDA does not list this as any type of controlled substance that is usually included on drug tests.
