MS Contin contains the active ingredient Morphine. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
It would basically be equivalent to taking a 10/325mg Percocet every 12 hours, however, the MS Contin is time released, so you may get better pain control with it.
