How Long Does It Take For Oxycodone 5-325 To Take Affect?

I just had my wisdom tooth taken out and I am going through a lot of pain. I can't even sleep.

Since this is the regular release formulation, it will take about15 to 20 minutes to kick in and start working.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I was prescribed 5mg Percocet to take twice a day. I took one 1 hr and 45mins ago and I don't feel like it has worked and I am in alot of pain. Do you think I could take another 5mg noe?

Take to at once it will work then I had that same problem I just had a C-section for my baby to be born n I tried only one it didn't work so since I'm able to take 1 to 2 every 6 hours I went ahead n took to of them n it worked fine. Just be careful because you can get addicted to them.
