My husband is taking penicillin for a tooth infection. the dentist gave him a week supply my husband's tooth got worse so he had a old bottle of penicillin (not expired) from the last dentist visit so he continued to take those . his tooth is becoming really swollen with a big white ball ! My question is.. is it ok to continue the penicillin until we get him to a dentist? The
