How Long Before I See Results From Doxycycline
UpdatedTaking doxycycline for a staph infection on surgical site. Day 2, no change. When should I see results? How long before it works?

Hello, Kay! How are you?
The general rule for antibiotics is that if the are working, you should not see any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours, and you should start to see improvement after taking them for a full 3 days, according to general NIH reports.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Has there been any change, yet?
