How Long Am I Suppose To Use Ciprofloxacin

I'm using biotech ciprofloxacin 500mg I got them last week on Thursday from the clinic. They say I must take 1 tablet twice a day. They checked my urine and gave me these tablets. I don't know why but since I started using them I drink a lot of water and pee a lot so I don't know whether they're still doing their job or if they are having a negative effect on me. I'm a guy and lastly since people are talking about being pregnant after using these tablets my Gf is not conceiving; so if she might use these tablets is there a possibility that she can conceive?

This medication is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. If they checked your urine and then prescribed them, my best guess is that you had a urinary tract infection.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

And no, they will not help with conception.

So now I finished the ones they gave me. Must I go back to the clinic for other tablets or can I get a refill from the pharmacy or am I OK now?
