How Does Candid Helps To Cure Tinea Versicolor

I have this Tinea Versicolor for 4 years but there is no improvment till date.

Hi Sai,

Based on my research, Candid (Clotrimazole) is reported to be an anti-fungal medication/cream, commonly prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections; which is exactly what "tinea versicolor" is (just on a more chronic level, if you will). The US National Library of Medicine also states that this condition is generally "treated" (NOT cured) by applying anti-fungal medicine (such as Clotrimazole) to the skin or by taking it orally.

So it sounds to me like it'd be worth trying if nothing else has worked over the last 4 years. I also wanted to add that because this condition is caused by a type of yeast fungus (known as Pityrosporum ovale), it may even be a good idea to make certain changes within your diet to help counteract any additional yeast build up.
