How Can I Get A Script For Subutex
UpdatedMy daughter abuses opiates and is now quite poor. I have been trying to get her subutex but cant find anyone to prescribe them. She has inj. marks all over her body and has lost so much weight lately she is grey. It's horrific to see she is so thin and has a needle broke off in her groin. They tried to operate but it's to close to the main artery. She has had 3 dvt's and numerous abscess's. She has been on opiates for 17 yrs and abused them for about 11. I don't know what to do anymore.

Try to go clinics and they are very mean. I have MACD CARD and they want you to come three days a week, they just want your card so they can get paid, then they don't give you enough to help bad withdrawals. They give you one per day, also I don't drive. When they want you there 3 days a week, then I only get today's pay. I work only 5 hours day in home care since it became so hard. Then I have go get other means for withdrawals.
Tammy,
Sorry but most clinics do try to help,it seems that your not paying for your treatment. Most would do anything for charity care yet you seem to complain about that.why not address your needs with the clinic instead of thrashing the system that's attempting to assist you with your addiction issues. I suppose some are sicker then others.get real get well......
Your daughter is like many seen on the TV show "Intervention," and it'd be great for her to be on it. You can Google the show which is seen on A & E. There is also a show called "Addicted." However, thousands of families are probably trying to get help that way, and it sounds like there isn't time to try that route. If she has ObamaCare, insurance policies cover rehab, which is where she needs to be. The reason for her drug abuse needs to be addressed. Suboxone is addictive and like me, she could be allergic and unable to use it anyway. She needs to detox, but as long as she is enabled, she won't see the need. If you or anyone is giving her money, housing, transportation, food or a phone, you are enabling her. That is called "loving her to death." It is very difficult not to "help" your child, but enabling is a slow way of killing her. Never give her cash, period. You could call the police when you know she is in possession of drugs or paraphernalia, but that might only anger her and cause her to want to use more. It would teach her that jail is the best of two places she will end up, though. You could also find out who is selling to her because they need to be busted, but the drugs can always be found if in demand. Prayer is powerful, but God expects us to seek help as well. It is very difficult to get the best help when resources are limited by your ability to pay. Try to contact local/government agencies, NA, and use the Internet to explore resources. Good luck and I wish you the best outcome.
Hey, I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I'm an opiate addict in recovery myself so I know exactly how to handle this. If you have insurance, private insurance health insurance that is, you can get her into a detox. You can look up on your insurance website what your insurance covers and what places they cover for her to go to detox at. If you have a hard time finding a doctor that's b*******. I live here in California and I can find one in a day. I have two doctors actually {edited for privacy} and I can promise you that I can find her a doctor or have my buddy's detox center take her in.
