Hours Late, Birth Control
UpdatedHi! I've been taking minastrin 24 fe for about 9 months now. I've never missed a day, but somehow today I slept through my alarm and took it 6 hours late. Will it be ineffective now?

Hello, Autumn! How are you?
No, you've generally got a window of about 12 hours, before it's even considered a late pill and about 24hours, before it's actually considered a missed tablet.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
Is there anything else I can help with?
