I think you may be talking about Darvocet, which contained Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene. It was a very mild narcotic and yes, it was pulled from the market due to the risk of cardiac dangers.
The FDA listed it as possibly being habit forming and it could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
