UpdatedCan I take lisinopril if I have been taking lotrel?

Hello, Cassie! How are you?
Yes you can, as long as your doctor has instructed you to do so. However, you shouldn't take both at the same time, since both the Benzapril in the Lotrel and Lisinopril are ACE inhibitors.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
Is there anything else I can help with?
