How long have you been giving her the medication? It may take a few days for it reach its full level of efficacy in the body. Has there been any change, yet?
The NIH lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
How high is her fever?
