High Blood Pressure Medicine Not Available

My blood pressure is 199/107 to 185/99 earlier i was taking Amlozaar-H as per doctor it is giving Swelling in both legs and some time of face and hands and it looks that i am getting charm on my face, now it was discontinued and Telma-H40 started but no effect BP is same as above. Quite some time back i was in America and one dr. Suggested Hyzaar100/25 but here in India i am not getting it. Will you please help me? What should i do?

How long have you been taking your current medication? It can take about a month for such medications to reach their full level of efficacy in the body, to see how much they are going to help you.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Hyzaar contains Losartan and Hydrocholorothiazide, so it is very similar to what you are currently taking, but you may need a higher dose.

Do you also keep your salt intake as minimal as possible? That can contribute to high blood pressure, in some people.
