High Blood Pressure Change Of Medicine

I'm a 40 year old diagnosed with High Bp for the past 5 years. I was on Losar h in the morning and amlong 5mg in the night. After that my Bp for a very long time (maybe years) was 110/75, but with frequent severe headaches (weekly twice and each time for over 24 hours). 2 weeks back due to non availability of losar h, i had to consume amlong 5 mg both in morning and night and continued with it. Surprisingly my headache vanished, but I felt problem with my eyesight, swelling of legs and ankle, constipation problem.. Is this because of the change of medicine?

Yes, there is a chance that it could be due to the change in medication. The NIH lists the other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Are you on any other medications? Has your doctor checked it out, yet?
