Hidrasec Racedotril Overdosage Side Effects In Babies

I gave the wrong dosage of the hidrasec racedotril to my 11 month old baby. I mix halfthe sachet as I followed the instruction and it says to be taken three times a day but I let my daughter drink it 1 time only. During the night, she kept waking up and she was crying. I wonder what are the side effects of taking overdosage of of this medicine.

Overdosage could place your child's life in danger and you should contact your doctor, a poison control center or your nearest emergency care provider immediately.

That said, an overdose of anything could cause organ damage or even be fatal.

This medication is normally used to treat diarrhea.
