hi, im a female of 23yrs old, im taking eptoin 100mg twice a day one tablet in morning and 2 doses at night,i will be married by september2014, can i take eptoin100mg during my pregnancy time? im taking eptoin100mg from 2007.

Eption (Phenytoin) falls in pregnancy category D here in the USA, which indicates "Positive evidence of risk". So it is advisable to work closely with your doctor during the pregnancy to ensure your child's health. They may decide that the benefits of your medication outweigh the risks, but that is ultimately for you and them to decide since they are going to be familiar with your full medical history.
