Hernando Co I Need To Fill My Oxycodone 30mg Rx

I am looking for a pharmacy in Hernando County (spring hill area) that will fill my Rx of Oxycodone 30mg (120). I am paralyzed and wheelchair bound and have been to 15 pharmacies all who are out any suggestions on where to try? Thanks

Hello, Scotty! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're having a problem getting your prescription filled.

Have you found them, yet?

We are now into the time of year when shortages usually occur, due to the DEA mandatory manufacturing limits on controlled substances. Once each manufacturer reaches their limit, they cannot manufacturer any new product, until after the new year.

According to the FDA, this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

The best suggestion I can make for you, or anyone else having a problem finding their medication is to speak to their pharmacist about what they do have available and then see if your doctor would be willing to prescribe it, in the meantime.

Does anyone else have any ideas that might help?
