been going to pain managment clinic in tampa florida this entire year the name brand pharmacy;s don't carry the medication so i cant use my insurance. so mom and pop pharmacies carry it but wont take insurance. Heres my problem the first prescription for 240 30mg oxycodone was $260 the next $340 the next $1,500 the next $1,300 the next $1,100 and last month he said it would be $1,300 i told him i could go down the street and get them for $900 then after debating price for 30 minutes he took $890 for 240 oxycodone 30 mg. they also only take CASH. Does this seem legal to anyone?

I am a disabled vet and have the same problem. Every new Dr you get is like proving your disabled all over again. I just pay for my pain meds out of pocket. Its just less hassle in the end. The VA is just another worthless agency there to take care of itself and not the vets like us who need it.

I had to go to mail order thru my insurance company to get my Oxycodone 30 mg,and my methadones, the insurance covers it and my co pay is only6.00 maybe you all need to go thru mail order thru your insurance companies! I have a medicare advantage plan,most cover these. Hope this helped,good luck!

Dont feel bad I just paid $233 for 90 30 mg oxycodone at rite aid..no other pharmacy near me south philadelphia or in broomal / springfield had it in stock. one walgreens that I got from 2 months ago for $103 is permanently not stocking them. last month diff walgreens paid $128..& now 233$. cause no pharmacies have them in stock...it makes me sick that they can do this..:(

I live in Ohio and have insurance, I get 240 30mg oxycodone at CVS for $8.00. I have gotten them before insurance would pay for them because I was going to Canada fishing and didn't want the hassle of trying to find CVS or even just getting them filled out if the country. I paid $295.29 cash for 240 "M" box 30's on Oct. 11 2014. I about crapped my pants when the pharmacist told me how much they would be as I've been prescribed the 30 mg oxycodone since my car accident in 2006 with this being only the second time I've paid cash and not used my insurance. The other time was in 2007 when I just ran out before the month was over and since my insurance only covers a 30 day supply I believe I paid around $55.00 for 90 30 mg "M" boxes.

Try what another poster suggested and contact the drug manufacturer and see what type of plans they have to help folks defray the cost of their medications. My mother did it with Nexium and Prozac when they first came out and she ended up paying around $15.00 each or so for a 3 month supply. Maybe checking with CVS or other chain pharmacys out of state for mail order or maybe the manufacturer can help with locating mail order option for you. Good Luck and don't give up, there is a solution out there somewhere.

I am a disabled vet. Every time I get a new VA Dr.it's like starting over all over again. I have finally chosen to payout of my pocket for the oxycodone that is the only thing I can gain my quality of live back, the VA has a pain clinic but won't tell you how to get into it. It costs me $400 out of my fixed income. What do I do?

Pa, West Virginia, new jersey, ohio, Illinois and Iowa from walgreens, cvs and k mart. You have to go far because all the people in jax, fl ruined Georgia, south and north Carolina. It's easy as 123 just walk in and they treat you as if you are a real human. Many of them will call your Dr if it's your first time there but after you get established you will be fine.

Have you tried out of state I travel for work and get my scripts filled in many states and they only charge me 50 bucks with insurance.

Pharmacies will not tell you when they are expected to get more. I've had many problems with walgreens not having oxys in stock in the St Pete area I just get it filled at St Anthony's not sure how much this is my first month w/o insurance

I would like for my husband to be able too get his oxci,I mean the man was in Vietnam and now has agent orange. Which is death,there is no cure,he has lukemiea.his ins will not pay,so he is in pain every moment.

I go to a small mom and pop pharmacy in St Augustine Florida inside Flagler hospital and there per pill price for oxycodone 30 is $2.25 per pilland I have yet been there in three years and they not have them in stock always always have them

please when tryin to fill a script for a narcotic, go to your local pharmacist that you frequent with your regular. scripts ask them on the side if they can order it. shouldn't. be a problem if you hav been supporting their business.I suffer from spinal pain,i wouldn't. kno what. to do otherwise.

Or , you could lose the crutch, and get off these meds, and try some different , effective forms of pain management, that is a ridiculous amount of oxycodone you are prescribed. Your "pain management" dealer, should be locked up. This CHOICE you are making to rely on narcotics, is a lifelong , never ending down hill spiral.
