if left out in room that is 70 degrees for 12 hours ,is it still safe to use Hcg

Hi carol,

Information I'm finding online notes that the storage recommendations for maintaining the stability/shelf-life of "reconstituted" human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) should be at temperatures ranging from 35.6 - 46.4 degrees fahrenheit (and protected from light).

"Unconstituted" hCG however, maintains shelf life at a totally different temperature of no more than 77 degrees fahrenheit (also to be kept out of direct light).

Lastly, "lyophilized" hCG lists yet another temperature variation for storage; below -0.4 degrees fahrenheit. Though it is implied that lyophilized hCG may remain stable in room temperature for up to 3 weeks.

Do you happen to know what type of hCG you have (unconstituted/reconstituted/lyophilized), since this seems to determine what temp it should be stored at?
