Having My Period Back After Stopping The Use Of Progesterone Soft Gelatin Capsules 200mg

I used 7 progesterone soft gelatin capsules 200 mg by mouth to control my period due to some requirement. How many days will it approximately take to have my period after stopping the usage of the capsule?

Hello, Latha! How are you? Have you experienced a period, yet?

The NIH studies state that it can usually take about 3 days, before you may experience one, thought it can vary from person to person.

And Joy, yes it usually not harmful, though if you are using them vaginally you may not absorb as much of the medication as you should, you should also be aware that it may not prevent pregnancy.
