Hair Follicle Drug Test And Oxycodone (Page 3)

I am prescribed oxycodone 10mg taken 4 times daily. I take them as directed. I recently took a 5 panel hair follicle test and it came back negative on everything. Does anyone know a reason that this would not show up on a hair test? I did not have my hair colored or bleached in over two years and I did not take anything to try to alter the results. Thanks!

If I took one Tramadol pill 50mg will I fail a hair follicle test??? Have a hair follicle test coming up so need to know ASAP...

Hair testing guy
I used oxycodone from nov 1-16. Fairly high doses daily. I had a hair follicle test last week which case up positive right at the 200 cut off. They said bc it was right at 200, I could have another lab test the sample. Is it worth that trouble or just take a new one and use the shampoo. Last time it took over 4 months and use of shampoo to get a negative result. Thoughts?

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. That small amount won't show up in a hair drug test.

I passed! Took abou 20mg of oxycodone 85 days ago and 14 mg a month ago!! Worried myself sick about it! Looking for chronic use not infrequent users! Thanks sure help with my nerves a lot!!

I passed. Even my prescription for Hydrocodone from November/December didn’t show. And it was expanded opiates. They took chest hair from me. I have been a nervous wreck for 2 weeks due to the fact I took an old prescription about 3-6 months ago. So just wanted to post on this awesome thread and thank hairtestingguy for all the knowledge! The higher the cutoff the less likely you are to turn up positive. 500 is on the high side. All of our opiates are set at 200. As far as where to take the hair from it doesn't matter.

Also found out it’s with quest who’s cutt off is 500pg/mg. Definitely extended opiates. I don’t know if that helps my chances or not

Drugs can be detected in body hair as far back as 6-12 months. If you took 10 percocets in the last 6 months, like your post #246 says, you might have trouble passing a body hair test. I have a good faq on my site but I can't put the address here. In the future you might consider doing your own anonymous hair test.

You might have some trouble passing a hair drug test if they check for the extended opiates. One of the reasons is the usual cutoff level for oxycodone is 200 pg/mg, which is fairly low.
