That's because you are correct. I have been taking for years and noticed the same thing . Its is the manufacture, I have several scripts and now go to CVS, they have the good medicine most of the time, but bit all the time. It's your best option. I hope this was helpful .Give CVS a try. Best of kick.

This oxy pill u23 do not work for me. I have been on oxy for a while and I know the difference from the A14 and a couple of other ones. The u23 is just not up to par.

Kmo, you my friend are a Hypocrite. You posted incorrect information about suboxone. It will Not put you in immediate withdrawals if you take an opiate while on them. It in fact wil only blocks the effects of opiates if you take them while you are on suboxin! However, you will go into immediate withdrawal if you take Suboxone too soon after ingesting your last dose of opiates; you must be in withdrawal before taking Suboxone or you will get what is called precipitated withdrawal. So next time you ask others to do research before they post and give out information, you may want to do a little homework yourself! This is accurate and true indormation.

Stay away from ALL meds made by 'Auro'. They do not work for pain.

Once you've picked up your prescription you can't return it or change it for something else. However, when picking up your script you can look at the bottle or description on the bottle and see which who manufactures the pills before you leave the pharmacy. Once you've signed for the pills and leave with them you're outta luck so it's best to make sure its what you want before you leave.

I suggest next time you see your doctor to tell him/her that you need to switch pharmacies because Rite Aid carries a brand of your medication that does not work for you. Your doctor can't tell you no you're not allowed to do that. Fill out a new pain contract and list a new pharmacy. I went to all of my local pharmacies to see which brand each was ordering so I know where to fill my prescription. I had Walmart listed as my primary pharmacy but they never have it in stock so I switched to Safeway, then I got stuck with the Aurobindo formula so the month after that I switched to CVS who orders "Qualitest" (scored with "V"). I like that brand so now I always fill at CVS. Usually when you pick a primary pharmacy you also choose a secondary pharmacy to fill your prescriptions in the event your primary choice is out of stock. As long as you tell your doctor you're switching everything should be fine.

Please note that the examples of pharmacies I provided are my own experience with my local pharmacies and does not mean all CVS' will order the same as my local CVS. All of the "Aurobindo" pills are garbage, it's possible you're allergic to one of the inactive ingredients in that formula but in my experience Aurobindo is just an awful manufacturer in general. Good luck, I hope this is somewhat helpful.

Re: Lisa (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

They work but too many darn side effects, sweating of palms of hands and feet and back of the neck, cold sweats, random headaches and drowsiness. Never had any issues from any other type of oxy brand.

Try to avoid u23 if possible. I know somebody else that uses the same without any issues but for me not so good.

It's a bummer since I just filled and can't switch, 27 more days of this b.s..

Shop around and always try to stick with a brand that works for you. Not all brands are the same!

Never go to a store to get your script filled. I always go to hospital pharmacy. You will be ok then. I have both kinds on me now. Some left over and there is a definite difference. So between u and I go to hospital. They will always give u the real deal. Rite Aid and other places do deal w/manufacture to cut costs. Hospitals generally want to get the best thing to help u get better.

See reply number 36. It will explain a lot about Aurolife / Aurobindo products. Another of my posts gives instructions on how to avoid it. You have rights as a patient/consumer. You may have to switch pharmacies, but, it will be worth it.

They are made by Aurobindo/Aurolife Pharma. They do not work as well, if at all, as the same medication from other manufacturers.

I switched pharmacies over this issue. They try to cut their costs, but they lost a good customer because of this.

Why didnt you file a police report? Usually if you present ylu doc with one stating your meds were stolen they will write you another rx. However, some pm doc dont care if they burnt up in a house fire- the will not write another rx under any circumstances. Now that's morals for you!!

To those who are saying that oxycodone and naloxone are counterproductive, that may be true. However, we can't ignore the fact that this drug combination does exist under the trade names Targin (made by Mundipharma), Targiniq and Targinact. So before calling others out, you should at least be aware of this - That's all I'm saying...

"The place of oxycodone/naloxone in chronic pain management":

Hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Hi Toya,

I don't have an image to show you, but I can link you to the next best thing - A description of this specific pill from The US National Institute of Health at:

dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=96ad4352-fff3-46a7-85de-466cc161045e

Just scroll down to the section titled "How Supplied" for a detailed description of how it should appear.

Also for added verification, the tablet in question carries a National Drug Code of 13107-056.

I hope this helps!

Yes they're generic, I suggest switching your pharmacy to Walgreens. Their 15 mg oxycodone pills are manufactured by Actavis. One side has 1-A and the other side has 2-214. They seem to work for me, an 11 year chronic pain patient.
