Not that I'm aware of, but it has been restricted further by the DEA. It was changed to a schedule 2 medication in 2014/early 2015. Additional DEA directives were issued advising doctors of what they deemed to be appropriate limits for people not suffering from intractable pain due to a possibly fatal illness. In turn, this has caused some doctors to stop prescribing it, as well as other narcotics.
The FDA has found it to be very commonly abused, plus it has habit forming potential for virtually anyone that takes it.
Has anyone else heard something about this?
