Goldenseal Root Buprenorphine Interactions

I take about 12 mg of subutex a day I haven't been on the program long but long story short,I got staff in my foot and IM sure we all know how that happened .someone told me I could take golden seal root to get by till the health dept can see me next week but IM worried it could have an adverse effect on my meds. Can anybody tell me anything I can't find anything about it I line

The problem is due to the fact that the Goldenseal is a supplement, not an actual prescription medication, so it hasn't been tested for interactions with prescription drugs.

The best suggestion I can make is to check with your doctor or pharmacist, before taking it.

Though, I'm really not sure what anyone expects it to do for a staph infection, since it's not proven to actually do anything.

Additionally, it can be dangerous if you take too much, so please be very careful.
