Going On Vacation Need Help!!!

So I'm going on vacation Nov 7th. And I'm not sure if I will have my period and I'm trying to avoid it. I usually get my period at the end of the month around the 26th or 27th but for some reason I got it 2 weeks later for 1 day only on Oct 9th and I did not get it at the end of the month like usual. I started taking lo loestrin a few days ago to try to avoid it. Will I get my period at that time or will the pills help me avoid my period help please

It depends on how your body reacts to the pills, you may skip your period, or you may get it anyway. Alternatively, you could also experience some spotting/breakthrough bleeding.

Other side effects to oral contraceptives may include nausea, dizziness, headache, bloating, PMS and weight gain.
