Hi there, I wud jst like to know, I've been on oracle for over a year I skipped a month and a half of taking the pill, and now I'm going on quick getaway with my bf in a weeks time, and now my period seems to fall on those days..I have now taken the white pill so that my red pills fall on the following week..would this work?

Unless your doctor gives you some specific reason not to do so, you can just skip your period week, so you don't start then, yes.
You may still experience some spotting/breakthrough bleeding, though.
