Hello, Tanya! How are you?
Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, the FDA does allow some variations in generic medications and, given the new side effects, I think this one may be a little stronger than the ones you were taking.
The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation.
Since the fluctuations are very slight, your body usually adjusts in a week, or so. If not, then you should consult your doctor.
Is there anything else I can help with?
