I had asked whether the prescribed medicines (glycomet tablet (500mg), krimson) are good for me or not and reason for continuous weight increment

Yes, they are often prescribed to treat such conditions and no, they are not likely to cause weight gain.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
