Glycomet 500 For Pcos

Hi, Iam married,28 years of old and over weight.. My periods are not regular,my gyno take pelvic scan and it shows normal... But she prescribed glycomet 500.. I have arthritis too... let me know how long should I take this medicine..we are planning now for a baby..Does any problem occurs if arthritis patient in her pregnancy period?

Glycomet is often prescribed to patients with PCOS/PCOD, because it has been found that the condition can improve by helping someone's insulin resistance.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, flatulence, stomach pain and hypoglycemia.

Your doctor will instruct you on how long you should take it.

As to your arthritis, that depends on which joints are affected. If you have problems with your hips and knees, you may need to be cautious during pregnancy, because the added weight could aggravate your condition.
