Hello, Pamanab! How are you?

Unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, these medications are normally taken just before a meal, that way they have time to start working by the time you are digesting your food and will experience the greatest blood sugar fluctuations.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, hypoglycemia and flatulence.

Is there anything else I can help with?
