They both contain different active ingredients.

The Gliclaz-M contains Gliclazide and Metformin.

And Amaryl contains the active ingredient Glimepiride.

All are oral antidiabetic medications that are used to help lower and control blood sugar, but one medication may work better for someone than a different one.
