given to me for sleep. Would like to know if addiction is likely from this drug.

Yes, Zopiclone can also be addictive. It was originally thought that it wasn't, however, many people did end up having problems with it that resulted in addiction.

This is primarily why it is usually prescribed on an as needed basis, rather than as something you should take regularly.
