Gildess Period Skipping And Break Through Bleeding
UpdatedI've been on Gildess for months and decided to skip my period for vacation. Mission accomplished, but with the occasional missed pill, today I've developed spotting. I'm only 2 weeks into my pack. What should I do?

Hello, Krissy! How are you?
Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you should continue taking them as normal. Missing tablets can disrupt your hormonal balance and cause spotting. It may take a couple weeks for things to balance back out.
The FDA lists the other possible side effects of oral contraceptives as including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and PMS-like symptoms.
Is there anything else I can help with?
