Hello, Orlando! How are you?

No, at this time there is no generic for this medication available. The patents on it will not expire until 2015 and 2021, depending on the formulation in question.

There are, however, other beta blockers that are available as generics, such as Carvedilol and Metoprolol.

Learn more Carvedilol details here.

Learn more Metoprolol details here.

Thus, you may want to ask your doctor about being prescribed an alternative medication.

Is there anything else I can help with?
