Generic Lorazepam (ativan)

Since all the pharmaceutical companies buy & sell companies regularly and the pharmacies switch to the cheapest generics they can find monthly, has anyone found in the year 2015, a generic Ativan/Lorazepam that is of good quality? I only take it as needed and do not take daily. Just before Christmas I filled a script for generic Ativan and did not feel that it worked anymore than drinking a glass of water. The imprint is Watson, 241/1, white, round. My health insurance will pay for generic only. I am allowed to pay a higher copay in order to get the Brand medication if I wanted but Brand gets costly. However, since I do not take it daily, I'd be willing to pay the extra cost to know when I need it, it will work well. If anyone in 2015 has found a generic Lorazepam that works well, please share its imprint and manufacturer. I now have a bottle of Ativan that is 3+ months old that doesn't even work. Copay was inexpensive but what's the point if the medication doesn't even work? Thanks for any input!

It's been a couple of years, since I've taken it, but I had good luck with the one made by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. It has a V logo on one side and the numbers 4008 over a score line on the other.

The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Is there anything else I can help with?
