Generic Deplin (Top voted first)

Updated

This IS true. PamLabs are under some serious Federal Law Suits right now. This product from China is NOT bioequivalent to Deplin - only 60% . It is not stable. I work at a healthcare facility and have been keeping in touch with the rep concerning this matter

Thanks for posting this information, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I would, however, like to add some information for future readers.

Bioequivalent DOES NOT refer to the percentage of active ingredient that is in any given tablet.

Bioequivalent means that an ingredient is different from, but works in the same manners as the original ingredient in the name brand product.

As to a difference of 60% that would have to refer to the AMOUNT of the active ingredient.

From name brands to generics, the FDA allows a fluctuation of only plus or minus 20%, they consider this an acceptable therapeutic window.

Thus, yes, if they are detecting a different of 40%, then it is unacceptable and they will not allow it to be approved for the U.S. market.
