Generic Adderal 2

i take 20 mg of adderal 4x day..and it comes up as a postiv for meth.. ive neer touched that s*** in my life...how can i prove my that the test cme up as false positive for meth...i see this is starting to be a problem with alt ofother add users... people have lost jobs by taking there medication that have ben prescribed by doctors... my doctor tests me at his office and it has come up as meth..ive been on adderal for a very long time and this has happen about three times...so yes I know that it comes up as a false positve for,meth at times.... and thats a big word... "meth" no one wants to believe you when thats the topic of conversation...

The way you avoid a positive drug test result is when you fill out the form before the drug test, list Adderall as a drug you are taking and provide your doctor's contact information. Might even help to have a photocopy of your Rx. The drug testing company will disregard the positive test for amphetamines knowing it's the Adderall.

If you don't have a script and a legit reason and are abusing Adderall then you deserve a positive drug test. Why? Because you are a drug abuser.

After rereading the original post I need to add something else...

Nobody has lost their job because they were taking Adderall or any other prescribed drug (unless, perhaps, they were taking something that interfered with their ability to do their job). This is as best baseless speculation.

When you take a drug test and fill out the form listing prescription drugs you are taking, that information is private, protected HIPAA information and is kept between you and the testing company. It is NOT shared with your employer. If you are taking Adderall with a prescription and get drug tested, the testing company simply reports a "negative" to your employer. They do NOT report that "He failed for meth but he is taking Adderall".

Precidely what drugs you are taking are nobody's business except yours and the testing company's. They will research the issue as necessary, a medical officer might call you or your prescribing doctor, and then the bare minimum (pas/fail) will be communicated to your employer.

If an employer ever indicates to you that they know you are on Adderall then patient privacy laws have probably been broken.
