General Back Pain After Walking Mile Or More

my work involves travel & using urban public transportation; after walking mile or more I get general back pain AKA inflammation, but it goes away overnight;
(must carry ~8 lbs of travel equipment)
do not have back pain when not traveling or not doing a lot of walking;

orthopaedist prescribed (1) Celebrex daily
on travel days; any comments on what to expect, degree of relief, appreciated; ideally it would reduce ache/pain enough on travel walking days that I would not have to take frequent sitting breaks...

feet also swell on some travel days due to edema, but Lasix resolves that...
