it has been suggested that i take gabapentine for peripheral neuropathy. I also take thyroxine - are there any adverse interactions between the two. although gabapentine may ease nerve pain - will it affect my loss of proprioception and balance, which is my greatest concern.

Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain.
And there are no interactions listed between it and Levothyroxine, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain.
It may cause some side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain.
