Gabapentin 300mg For Dog

My Australian Shepherd takes this for seizure disorder. He has been prescribed 1 capsule 3 times per day. Because of my work schedule, it's very difficult to dispense 3 times. I know that is optimal, but can I give him one in the morning and 2 at night?

Hi I was wondering if it works well? And I wanted to know because my husky is doing seizures and I wanted to give her gabapentin but I don't know the disage? how much Does your dog weigh? Thank you

Unfortunately, no. That's not going to work the same way. The reason it's given spaced over the day is to try to keep a constant level of the medication in his system to prevent the seizures.

Do you have a friend or neighbor that may be able to help?
