My doctor just prescribe me 100 mg of gabapentin 3 times a day. I've been taking it 2 days now and I've had no pain relief and no side affects. Should I try taking two at one time? I'm on medicaid and my Dr. Has like a bajillion patients and I can never get a hold of him. II'm always on hold for 30 minutes so I figured I'd ask here. I'm also taking 10/325 norco and 20 mg of prednisone

I think you may be misunderstanding, this isn't actually an analgesic. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has been found to help with certain types of nerve pain, due to the way it acts on brain chemicals. So, it's not going to work in just 2 days, it will take about a month, before you know whether or not it is going to help you at the current dosage.
Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes.
