Free Trial Offer Refused At Kroger Pharmacy (Top voted first)

registered on the internet, printed paperwork, took rx from my dr and left it at Kroger pharmacy. They ordered the med. I went to pick it up and they asked for my insurance, told me I would have to do copay which will not be possible as I have a huge deductible not met yet, so I didn't get my free trial offer.

Did your doctor write the prescription for just the 14 day trial offer? If not, then that may explain the problem. If he wrote it for a one month supply, they'd give you the 14 days free and then want your insurance and co-pay for the rest of the month.

You could also ask them for your prescription back and try a different pharmacy.

My krogers wouldn't even take my prescription. They said they weren't certified or something. I ended up going to cvs. Goodluck :)

Contact the issuer of the coupon at the toll free number provided, speak with the manager of the pharmacy, and tell your insurance company a claim was not to be filed or paid because it is a trial offer. Let the state board know about the unethical behavior of the pharmacy.

Kroger Pharmacy is the worst. The whole idea is to drop off your prescription while shopping for your groceries. When they say come back in 2 hours I take my order back and buy my food at the next grocery store.
