Found A Pill On My Son With Imprint 30 M (Top voted first)

Someone please tell me what this is and the difference between the following pill and percocet - my son has been caught with percocet before and i need to know...thank you.. It is a very small pill with 30 on one side and an M in a box on the other side...can you help me?

that is a very strong painkiller!! and very addictive!! that is for someone that is in serious pain as myself...that's a lot to take at once...but....ppl that have cronic pain as me need that...im not trying to go there...I just wanna b out of pain the best I can...if he is doing this...keep a good eye on him...that's dangerious!

If the color of the pill is blue then what you are describing is most likely an Oxycodone 30 mg, of which Oxycodone is one of the ingredients in Percocet, so it's a similar drug. Like JJ said, very addictive and dangerous! Source: Mallinckrodt web site (the manufacturer)

I read your post about you finding a pill on your son. I hope things got better for you. I've been through it with my son for years, then he got on opiates so bad I couldn't stand anymore watching my son killing himself. Finally, after ten years I got him in rehab and doing good. I hope you're doing fine. It's not always good. My sister lost her son over drugs.

This tablet contains Oxycodone 30mgs (NDC 00406-8530).

round, blut tablet M boxed 30

Inactive Ingredients:

- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Lactose Monohydrate
- Stearic Acid
- Fd&c Blue No. 2

Ref: DailyMed

As to the difference, Percocet contains Oxycodone with Acetaminophen, but this tablet only contains the narcotic Oxycodone.
