Focalin is a stimulant that's used to treat conditions, such as ADHD and narcolepsy, it does carry some risks due to its nature, so it should only be given if prescribed by his doctor and then only in the dosage the doctor prescribes.

It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, anorexia, insomnia and nervousness.

What dosage does he currently take?
