No, this is an antibiotic and will not do anything to help with piles, unless they have become infected. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

What treatment has your doctor recommend? Piles are not caused by infection.
